GATEWAY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
From Pittsburgh take the Parkway East (376) to Monroeville exit 16A. Follow
48 south (Mosside BLVD.) to the fourth (4th) traffic light. Right at the 4th
light on to Gateway Campus BLVD. Turn right at the 1st stop sign into Gateway
Senior High School. Follow the signs for the new athletic complex.
From the PA turnpike, take exit 6 to Monroeville(22 West). Left at the first light onto
48 South (Mosside BLVD.) Follow 48 south (Mosside BLVD.) to the fourth (4th)
traffic light. Right at the 4th light on to Gateway Campus BLVD. Turn right at
the 1st stop sign into Gateway Senior High School. Follow the signs for the new
athletic complex.
HIGHLAND PARK POOL
Highland Park Pool is located on Lake Drive in Highland Park, Pittsburgh, near the
Pittsburgh Zoo.
From Pittsburgh North/West take Route 28 to 62nd Street/Fleming Bridge.
Make a left at the light at the end of the bridge onto Butler Street. Proceed to second
light and make a right at the light onto Hill Road. Proceed past Zoo entrance, go through
stop sign, and proceed up the hill. This road will turn into Lake Drive. The pool is on
the right, across from the playground area.
From Pittsburgh East/South use Washington Blvd. (Route. 8) or Allegheny
River Blvd. (Route 130) Make a left onto Hill Road. Proceed past Zoo entrance, go through
stop sign, and proceed up the hill. This road will turn into Lake Drive. The pool is on
the right, across from the playground area.
NORTH PARK POOL
North Park, Allegheny County
Form the Pennsylvania Turnpike: Exit No. 4, Butler Valley, and proceed south on Route 8
approximately 1 mile to the intersection of Wildwood Road (Yellow Belt). Turn right on
Wildwood Road and proceed approximately 2.5 miles to the stoplight at the intersection of
Wildwood Road and Babcock Boulevard (main intersection in North Park). Turn left on
Babcock and follow the signs to the pool
From Interstate 79: Exit No. 22, Wexford, and follow Route 910 (Orange Belt) approximately
2.5 miles to Route 19 South (turn right at the stop sign at the Wexford Post Office Deli
to access Route 19 South). Follow Route 19 South approximately 3 miles to the intersection
of Ingomar Road (Yellow Belt). Before reaching Ingomar Road, stay in the left lane of
Route 19 as the right lane feeds onto McKnight Road. There is no exit to Ingomar Road from
McKnight Road South. At the light at the intersection of Route 19 South and Ingomar Road,
turn left onto Ingomar Road and proceed approximately 2 miles to the light at the
intersection with Babcock Boulevard (main intersection in North Park). Turn right on
Babcock and follow the signs to the pool.
From Route 19 North or McKnight Road North follow Route 19 North to the intersection of
Ingomar Road (Yellow Belt). Turn right on Ingomar Road and proceed approximately 2.2 miles
to the intersection with Babcock Boulevard (main intersection in North Park). Likewise,
from McKnight Road North, exit on to Ingomar Road East (Yellow Belt) and proceed
approximately 2 miles to the intersection with Babcock Boulevard. Turn right on Babcock
and follow the signs to the pool
RACCOON CREEK STATE PARK
264 East McMurray Rd.
Follow Rt. 19 south from South Hills Village for approximately 6 miles. Turn left at the
traffic light at Donaldson's Crossroads onto East McMurray Road. The School is
approximately 1/2 mile on right.
Take I-79, Exit 10. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Follow to Route 19 by Kings
Family Restaurant. Turn left onto Route 19 North for approximately 2 miles to East
McMurray Road. Turn right onto East McMurray. The school is approximately 1/2 mile on your
right.
3000 State Route 18, Hookstown, PA
Forty minutes west of Pittsburgh. Follow Rt. 22/30 West (I-279 towards airport). Take
Weirton Exit and follow signs to Raccoon Creek State Park (approximately 9 miles).
Entrance to Park is on the left.
SETTLERS CABIN
From I-79, parkway West exit toward the Airport. Exit
Parkway West at Campbell's Run Road. Follow signs to the Wave Pool.
From the North take I-79 to Rt. 60 exit. Follow Rt. 60 to Read Roof Inn.
At light, turn left onto Campbell's Run Rd. Travel approximately 1 mile to sign entrance
to Parkway. Turn right, follow the road up the hill. Turn right again and proceed to Pool
on the right.
