Peter Clark is coming to visit! Peter Clark, USA Swimming's Eastern Zone Sport Development Consultant, is curently planning a visit to us in November. He plans to attend our November 19th HOD meeting and would just love to schedule Club visits to follow the rest of the week. This is a great opportunity to share your ideas and concerns with Peter. Clubs, you may want him to address your parent group, or perhaps your Board might want him to share some ideas, or perhaps meet with your Club's Staff. He is making himself available for whatever he can do to assist you with your Club's upcoming seasonal plan. Peter will also be offering the Club Leadership and Business Management School (CLBMS) on Saturday, Nov 22nd, with additional details to be announced soon. Peter requests that you contact him ASAP because with travel the way it is, he has to book very soon. He is very much looking forward to visiting AMS! 2008-2009 Short Course Schedule information ... The 2008-09 Short Course Season Schedule has been finalized.

The third 2008 LC Top-10's have been posted! If you know of discrepancies or missing "Outside-of-the-LSC" meets that were not included and would change these lists, please send our Tech Planning Chairman, Bob Rinsma the following information in an e-mail: Swimmer’s name, USA Swimming ID, Club, Age Group, Event and Time, along with an internet link to the results of the meet in question. Thanks!

2008 Long Course Schedule information ... The 2008 Long Course meet awardees have been notified, and the LC08 schedule (modified 3/20/08) has been posted. This document includes the sites to which the meets were awarded. Please note that there remain meets for which no Clubs have bid. Those wishing to bid on them should do so as soon as possible.

The 2008 AMS Budget has been approved ... The 2008 AMS Annual budget was approved at the November 2007 HOD meeting.
